Assist EH&S Manager with the implementation of environmental, health and 
safety programs. Performs regular inspections of emergency response 
equipment. Conducts regular safety inspections of workplace facilities 
and equipment. Assists with hazardous materials management. Helps stage 
hazardous waste pickups and conduct regular inspections of waste 
accumulation areas. Assists with minor spill response and cleanup 
actions. Assists with training. Assists with the inspection, testing and 
maintenance of fire alarm, fire sprinkler and wet standpipe systems. 
Requires AA in Chemistry or Biology (or equivalent combination of 
experience and education) and HAZWOPER 24 Hour Operations Level or 
greater. Minimum 2-year experience in related environment health field. 
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong interpersonal skills and 
effective communication ability. Outstanding customer service 
orientation. Ability to respond to emergencies calmly and 
professionally. Requires ability to lift moderately heavy objects and 
walk for prolonged periods. Must be able to pass a respiratory physical 
and hold valid CA drivers license. Starting Rate: $12.93 to $15.00/hour.
