Dear Jim, We have read with interest your busy schedule of
workshops. I regret that you do not again have UI on the list, but
these are hard tmes indeed at our university. I am not sure that
Kerry will be equal to meeting the need.

It is of concern to me that chemistry no longer seems to be a
prestige choice of career for young people. The chemical industry
appears to have lost its magic, and citizens at large do not realize
how important chemistry has been in the development of modern
medical miracles.

Good wishes for you in  your continuing campaign to make us
safer.      Malcolm
