Subject: Re: Safety course material
Comments: cc: Barbara Foster
While I think it's wonderful that a course in chemical safety has been
prepared and will be offered on-line I question the prerequisite of
general and organic chemistry. It seems to me that the people taking
their first chemistry courses are the very ones who need the safety
training the most.

How many of us could have avoided a dangerous or potentially dangerous
incident in those first two years of chemistry if we had had a basic
class in chemical safety?
