Hello
Safety glasses will not do what safety goggles will do. safety goggles
will protect you from splashes more than safety glesses will. Also, safety
goggles will protect more from flying objects than safety goggles. The only
problem with safety goggles students do not like them because they are not
comfortable but they give more protection.
Thank you

I may have confused you by using the term "eyewear" in the last
paragraph.
I should have been specific and mention the type of eyewear. I meant
safety glasses in the last paragraph. OSHA has implemented a new PPE
eye protection standard for high and low impact safety eyewear effective
August 2003. be sure your purchases comply with that new standard.
Sorry for the incomplete answer prior.
